Mark’s Bio.

I started riding motorcycles at age 10 on a Honda trail 70 . My grand parents lived on Lake Dallas and there were miles and miles of dirt roads to ride on. My cousins had Honda 50 and 70ies also and we rode like crazy . We rode on the beach, we rode thru the woods, we rode them in the local farmers peanut patch.
During the week as soon as I got out of school my friends and I would hit the trails . By this time I had a Suzuki 90. It was full size and real fast. We would jump any hill or slide any turn we could find . At that time Suzuki made what was called a Git Kit one of my dads friends had one and for some reason put it on my bike. It was really fast then that kit had a cylinder that made it a 125 cc a over sized carb , and an expansion chamber exaust . Really it was scary fast. I would ride it around the big flat track wide open and learned to slide it side ways feet up with the throttle pinned just like the big boys .
I tried a little racing at the local flat track (Ross Downs) but at my young age just was not ready to run bar to bar at that kind of speed . I tried a bit of motocross but never had a long travel bike and just couldn’t compete with the guys that had them . So I took some time away from motorcycles to play with cars.
